On one of the hottest days of the year, Mercedes and I met to do her Senior Portrait Session… in October! It was a sweltering 97 degrees at the start of her session, so let’s just say we were both a tad toasty! But, oh my goodness, she took it in stride! Mercedes is a senior at Blackman High School, and she has plans to attend Motlow State to become a Mental Health Specialist.

Despite the temperature that seemed to be trying to melt us, Mercedes was so lovely to be around! She had the sweetest spirit and best attitude! We would take a few shots, and then wipe away sweat, and then take a few more shots! I never heard a single complaint, and we just laughed our way through it!

Mercedes, I had so much fun at your session!! Your kind nature and gentle spirit will serve you so well as you enter the field of Mental Health. You will be so amazing in that role! Hope you have a great rest of your senior year!
