Spring Senior Portrait Session in Murfreesboro

This whole pandemic situation has affected everyone, everywhere. In my tiny corner of the world, my small business came to a grinding halt. All sessions were postponed for weeks on end. I’ve recently been able to open back up (with safety measure in place), and sweet Emma was my first 2020 senior post-shutdown! Everything she expected would happen this year has been totally turned upside down, but she has persevered, and she has thrived!

Emma is graduating from Blackman High School as Valedictorian with both honors and distinction. She has been a part of varsity basketball cheer, involved in ministries at her local church, and has been a part of many extracurricular activities! She was even voted “most intellectual” by her peers! This will serve her well as she plans to attend the University of Tennessee in the Fall with a major in Biological Sciences to become a Physician’s assistant!

Emma’s session was at the gorgeous Stones River Battlefield. It’s that time of year where greenery is everywhere, but that tall, brown grass beckons at sunset. It’s the best of both worlds! Emma was up for anything I asked her to do, and always with a smile on her face! At one point, we were even pulling ticks off of ourselves. Gross, but worth it!

Emma, thank you for choosing me to capture this very special and unique time in your life! I know you didn’t get a say in how your senior year ended, but you have had such a great attitude, and I have no doubt you’ll do very well in life! I love your caring and sweet nature, and I wish you all the best as you head off to college!!
